DreamCatchers

Kifaru Productions assists DreamCatchers in the production of educational materials and donates a percentage of it's profits to the various DreamCatcher funds.

Over the last few years, the making of dream catchers has become an art unto itself - from the traditional types made of willow boughs covered with sage, to the contemporary, made of metal hoops wrapped with colored leather. There's even been an influx of cheaply made imports.

The dream catchers which we offer as gifts are the most beautiful we've been able to find. They come from a Lakota arts and crafts store, Wichapi Vision, in Chadron, Nebraska. Wichapi Vision sells Lakota quilted star blankets, beaded jewelry and clothing, hand painted shields and much, much more, all hand crafted by Lakota people from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. For more information about Wichapi Vision, phone (308) 432-2290.
